The 3-hour Instructional Support Workshop introduces teaching strategies that will aide you in teaching individuals who have mild to severe disabilities. You will learn to how look at functional routines in home, employment and/or community settings to break them down into small teachable steps and to adapt instruction to best match the learning styles of the individual.

- How to do inventories of basic routines and tasks
- The task analysis method to determine steps in the routines
- Choosing the best prompts/assistance to teach the steps
- Planning to fade assistance
- Adapting instruction based on the learning style of the focus individual
