Comprehensive Training Courses

LEVEL 1: CORE TRAINING
PERSON CENTRED PLANNING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORTS
This 36-hour training package has been designed for and provided to school districts that are supporting students with significant disabilities in inclusive settings. It is a highly effective and practical approach for teachers, educational assistants, parents, and administrators.

LEVEL 2: ADVANCED TRAINING
POSITIVE APPROACHES TO CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR
This advanced training has been designed for and implemented with school districts that are assisting persons with challenging behaviour in inclusive settings. This training incorporates 36 hours of classroom instruction, combined with direct consultation and follow up. Classroom instruction incorporates case studies, videotaped analyses, and a variety of positive support strategies to illustrate how functional assessment leads to positive, multi-element support plans.
