experience in cooperative teaching are used to discuss fears, strategies
for implementation, and outcomes.

Creating School-Based Teams That Work!
This one
or two day workshop is designed to enable the members of school-based
teams to diagnose current team problems and to begin planning for more
effective functioning. Initially, teams will spend time completing exercises
related to current team functioning and dynamics; in the two-day workshop,
the time allotted for this portion is more extensive. This is followed
by a presentation about the types of teams that are possible at the
district, building, classroom, teacher, and student levels. Information
about "expert" and "collaborative" teaming will also be provided, along
with suggestions about how to make the latter model work best. In the
two-day workshop, teams will have additional time to write action plans
for team re-structuring efforts.
Target
Audience: members of school-based teams and administrators
Cost:
$1,500 plus travel expenses for the one day workshop, $3,000 plus
travel expenses for the two day workshop
