Level 3: Collaborative Team Process

Selected agency personnel are mentored by CBI Consultants instructor to develop advanced skills to take on greater responsibilities regarding behavioural and communication assessment and intervention. Level 3 training prepares the selected staff members to act as an internal resource within their agency and to establish a collaborative team process. There are three phases of level 3:

Phase 1: Through a combination of seminars and individualized assistance, participants are supported to use tools introduced in Level 1 and 2 training workshops and to complete assessments, establish support team, and collaboratively develop support strategies for one or more focus persons within their respective agencies.

Phase 2: Participants learn how to integrate CBI's assessment and intervention strategies with procedures for Person Centered Planning

Phase 3: CBI Continues to provide support/training on an on-going basis using a consultation model in the context of collaborative relationships established between CBI instructors and Level 3 training participants.
